| After a hiatus of more than twenty years, the recently deceased Peter Božič, the pioneer of the Theatre of the Absurd in Slovenia, returns to Slovenian stages. His plays opened theatre horizons, his prose cut into Slovenian psychopathology like a scalpel. Šumi, an extremely economical creation, focused on the relationship between a father and a son, on the son's obsession with the father's story will be staged by Vinko Möderndorfer, an award-winning director and playwright, who convinced the Mladinsko audience and critics with his radical reading of Blasted by Sarah Kane. |
